Cloak and Dagger & the Runaways should have their own Solo Films

Cloak, Dagger, and The Runaways are characters and stories from the original Marvel Comics. It has been confirmed to be a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe though lack of consistency is present as it normally is within the films even solo films such as Ant-Man, Black Panther, and Spider-Man Homecoming subtly tie into the main story and introduce them as their own characters important to the main decade long story (albeit with their own struggles and growth). The only time the shows reveal their connection to the MCU itself is through brief mentions of characters like Iron Man/Tony Stark or Marvel-exclusive places like Wakanda. Otherwise, the shows hardly reveal their connection which is somewhat puzzling considering they all have faced major events that would traditionally attract the attention of the Avengers or even S.H.I.E.L.D. itself such as the Terror outbreak in New Orleans or Magistrate’s space ship which was close to leveling Los Angeles. Hell Morgan Le Fay has proven herself to be an Avenger-level threat as her goals and intentions should’ve attracted Dr. Strange the Sorceror Supreme or Wong, the former keeping a very close eye on beings and entities that pose a danger to reality itself, yet Morgan Le Fay managed to give him the slip.

The franchise's lack of consistency is present among TV shows or at least was pre-blip until Thanos the big bad of the entire Infinity Arc arrived and executed the snap which erased half the population of the entire universe itself claiming the lives of some of the avengers, their allies, and enemies alike. By then all the shows abruptly ended with no clue of how they had dealt with the snap as if all the characters were completely washed out in order to usher in a new era. Come 2023 with the rise of the blip, the defeat of Thanos, all the other major characters had begun living their own lives. Marvel has also fixed the consistency-issue by making sure all of their new shows and movies tie into each other somehow as both WandaVision and Falcon and The Winter Soldier take on the repercussions of the blip. As an added bonus some characters from previous Marvel series such as Daredevil/Matt Murdock and Kingpin/Wilson Fisk both made cameos and proved significant to some of the major characters of their stories as Murdock managed to get Peter exonerated after being outed as Spider-Man along with subconsciously revealing his heightened abilities and Kingpin attempted to rebuild his criminal empire and manipulated Ronin into killing his rival.

This is where hope for a potential movie of Cloak and Dagger/Runaways comes in. With Marvel rectifying & retconning some of its errors caused in the past and some of the old TV show characters coming out of the woodwork it would only make sense for Cloak and Dagger and the Runaways to receive their comeback after being shelved and abandoned for some time. With the rise of the multiverse it would make complete sense for the 2 shows to come back into the spotlight this time within the big screen, perhaps even interacting with other heroes such as the Avengers or Spider-Man. Perhaps if a new Avengers team was formed consisting of the younger generation of heroes such as Cloak, Dagger, the Runaways, Ms. Marvel, Shuri, and Spider-Man. Although that’s wishful thinking on my part it wouldn’t hurt to have some of the characters assist the Avengers in any way they can. After all, Cloak, Dagger, and Nico all have connections to the Dark Dimension where entities like Dormammu, the Loa, and Morgan Le Fay resided meaning their powers would prove beneficial against mystical enemies and even more so against extraterrestrials if they were to meet together as a team.
